Yahoo is telling me that Petraeus is resigning from the CIA because of an "extramarital affair."

My company prides itself on having "military-grade" security, which is apparently why we are still running WinXP and IE 8.
Hahaha! My company just upgraded me to Office 2010 and. IE 7. Which only happened because I had a computer issue and had to send it in. Otherwise I would've been on IE6 for another year. And since the main program I use is only compatible with IE6, I have to run an emulator to use it, which is a huge pain in the ass.
Is Fox news or someone else right wingy reporting in the last day or two about proposed gun or ammunition taxes? Just her some sky-falling folks discussing something about it that just sounds completely off.

Just got a call from my son, from school. My mind immediately jumped to the worst scenarios: he's thrown up, he broke his leg, he broke something at school and he's in big trouble. Nope, he's at the book fair and, without permission, he brought all his money to school and wants to buy a $20 Lego book, and the cashier insisted he call for permission first.
I said yes. In the grand scheme of things, there are worse things that my son can sneak behind my back to do.

There was a proposed gun and ammunition tax in IL. They dropped the ammunition tax part. I don't think the gun tax part has been approved yet.
Could that be it? Or is it some national thing?

I am so angry with UPS, but I just realized part of that may be that I haven't eaten since second breakfast. Oops.
As I got water before going to bed last night, I could taste it and thought that apparently what I told ita ! was wrong and my Brita indicator doohickie was useless. Except this morning, I saw it was flashing OMG I NEED NEW FILTER and so I am standing behind it again. Probably explains why yesterday's tea wasn't up to par as well.
