Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So the gawker sites have blogs now. Like, if you have a posting account over there, you have a tumblr/LJ like blog automatically.

It's fucking *hysterical*. I expect Denton's next move will be to encroach in Friendster's space. I mean, Facebook. Clearly he is not behind the times in any way.

Pluto gets moons to have moons even though it isn't a planet?

Maybe they're dwarf moons...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Non planet things can have moons. Some asteroids have moons. Moons can have moons. Gravity is a weird one.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm home from the memorial. It was a very nice service. LOTS of work people there including one of the big managers. The chapel was packed.

Then, walking out, I fell forward and scrapped the crap out of my left knee. A couple of nice gentlemen helped me up and I thought I had just bruised my pride. As I limped toward my car, I could feel blood trickling down my leg. YUCK. Came home and K-Bug helped me clean up my knee and put some neosporin on it. What a klutz.

I am barely conscious at this time. Zombie-like.

Did I post this [link] here? It's a character recognition equation solver. You write (not type) x=y ²+2y and it plots the graphs for you.

Utterly pointless to me, but hey! High school flashbacks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Had a big tearful emotional hormone meltdown last night. Shared it with my BFF, bless her. Spared b.org because I needed to vocalize my torment, I mean feelings. I feel better today. Work is nibbling me to death and I have a headache, so, status quo.

Love the sidesaddle steeplechase. I rode sidesaddle once. It wasn't as insecure-feeling as I had expected.

There was more, but I forgot. Hail Buffistas.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Big Picture Lunar New Year - love the woman in the panda costume riding the commuter train.

I am SO creeped out by the guy with the snake in his face! I saw another picture of him elsewhere.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

'Pope' relates to the Latin for father -- there's a reason he's called the Holy Father.

(I think it was in Barbara Hambly's Ancient Roman mystery where the 'detective' can't figure out why some of his suspects are referring to another suspect as 'Papa' until he realizes the reason for their secrecy is because they're early, persecuted, Christians.)

Also -- I got my car dug out! It only took a total of three hours, I think. I'm pretty damn worn out....
