"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

One of my mother's friends had a really annoying husband. She started losing her hearing in her 60s. She said having a hearing aid was the best thing ever because "I can just turn Prentiss off."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, right--that wasn't awe. It was surprise. And Megadeth (along with implied hairstyle) for a Delhi native is rarer than a martial arts instruction. The context makes the difference, I think, and I didn't give it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

msbelle, that link was a trip and a half. I think I guffawed several times. A couple of times, I kind of thought it was sad (see: person eating cheese. I can't say shit about that), so I wish they hadn't been included in the list.

my favorites:

#9 (and I spent more time than I'd like to admit envisioning how that came to pass)

#10 - she needs a Black person lecture. For real.

#16 - WTF

#22 - Wow.

#24 - I have sandal tan too!

#27 - I have witnessed this!

#28 - NIGHTMARE

#30 - Rock the fuck on! Bless.

#35 - FAIL

#39 - This happens way more than we would like to admit.

Great Barrier Reef. Snorkeled for about 4 hours.Awesome! Inadequate words.

Opted against diving because it was so much fuss and I was having depth issues( they went away but I would've seen less reef.)

I am burnt, (despite a wetsuit) fried and a happy camper. I shudder to think of the shots of me in the wetsuit... Well actually, I don't care.

One more day. May just go do morning laps in the lagoon.

FRUITBAT!!!

Also, my youngest nephew has no future in the navy; he was horribly seasick( seas were rough.) He rallied a bit, but it was kinda no fun for the poor kiddo.

Swouncing

You guys, threadsucking and reading your congratulations was the only thing that could really distract me from constant listening to the news and worrying about all the family and friends who are in the line of fire right now. Thank you.

Have good short Fridays, and lovely weekeds, y'all!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nilly, I hope you and yours are safe, and things get better.

Congratulations, Nilly! I hope that we get peaceful news from your part of the world very soon. Stay safe.

I will take a little house~ma. We own two at the moment, but our buyers moved up the date of closing to Nov. 30, so it won't be much longer. I probably need moving~ma more than house~ma at this point, since very few questions put my marriage to the test quite like, "Can I throw this out?"

lisah, I absolutely do not believe your new puppy is cute. Nope, not even a little bit. You'll have to provide photographic proof.
