Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So do you think there's time for me to join the Catholic church and get promoted to cardinal in time to be elected Pope? Because that might be a fun job.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, wtf. It's eleven o'clock! I still haven't started doing anything at work yet.

Oops.

Isn't there some way to leverage wasting time into a career?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If you figure that out, let me know.

I think the answer would have been "Buzzfeed contributor" or similar, if I were a lot younger.

Your Help Wanted to Name Two of Pluto's Moons

I seem to be in a surly mood today--perhaps because it's Monday. So far, this is what I've come up with for names of Pluto's two moons.

  • Bite and Me.
  • Fuck Off and Die.

Maybe I should not be naming moons today.

Once again, buffistas to the rescue. Yesterday's melt down felt like a Prednisone side effect, but without the Prednisone. Oy.

Now I'm trying to decide if I really want to go to the memorial. I have that emotional hangover thing going on and I'm pretty sure going will set me off again. But I want to be able to say goodbye and all that.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Snow day. Probably 3 inches so far, and not yet to the time of day when it's really supposed to start. They cancelled school after we'd have already gotten there, so it was damn good thing we started off when we did.

AAnd my Vaio died. Which I can probably fix, but not until I can leave the house. Which is a bitch.

But I am consoling myself by setting up my giant ass motherfucking new imac. Which includes playing my itunes library through my studio speakers.

Oh, well, seize the day, right? Can't do anything about the fact I can't do anything, so I'm just going to have a damn good day.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Isn't there some way to leverage wasting time into a career?

Yes. Reality shows. You will an attention-grabbing sex tape to get you started, though. I'm happy to consult for you on this matter.

I need more sleep. This is just not working for me. I'm not getting to sleep before midnight, and I need more sleep.

May be time to switch back to Ambien from Lunesta, but I wasn't missing the gibberish periods Ambien causes.
