We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Heh, Kat.

msbelle, I was hoping that would be a picture of your dog.

YAY le nubian!!

Ugh, Juliebird. I have no answers, but looking for a new job is always a good call in my book. Maybe there's nothing right now, maybe you find your dream job.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

It's almost worse than having the ED of doom who would choose a new victim to kick from month to month, because then I was on my own and ordered my days as I saw fit and knew that the person who ocassionally kick me was a douche-nozzle with no logic.

I asked a coworker recently why there seemed to be tension in the ranks, and she replied that it was because there was no common enemy to unite us anymore. Which makes such total sense since we bonded so fiercely during the Snowpocalypse of 2011 with the storm cleanup, and gosh isn't our ED a fucktard?!

My biggest fear about changing jobs is that I've gotten so good at the nuances of this place that, while I may look competent, at a new place I'll be floundering like a new college graduate.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

OMG indeed, msbelle.

I'm scared to see the new Judd Apatow movie because I feel like he stole some of it from my life.

Saw Skyfall today. What? Why? What? Huh? And that all is just the response to Javier Bardem's hair.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The couple sitting next to me at the bar just ordered two Manhattans—on the rocks. That’s just WRONG, isn’t it?

Well, yes. They forgot the control Manhattan.

Only for a while, like anyone in a new job. I have a colleague who's been at our org for a million years, in his last position for 10, and just moved into a completely new department and position. He was saying he feels terrible for not knowing everything, but it's normal! And expected.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

oh my dog y'all [link]

I find myself getting very judgey of the two people on line in front of the woman in number 41.

Compassionately intolerant

oh my dog y'all [link]

I'm wondering when my eyes of amazement are going to go back to their original size.

It's saying something when the woman in the Palin tshirt is the most normal looking. Yikes.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well, I prefer mine up, but on the rocks is an acceptable variation.

Besides Manhattan on the rocks has metaphorical implications.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

cheapest spring break airfare I am finding is $520 each rt. I have points that will cover $390 of that, but really would like lower fares. how long do I risk waiting for cheaper?

Punishingly Intricate

Where are you trying to go, msbelle?
