Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cash, that's great about the husband! I hope the transition goes as smoothly as possible.

DC--that's great about your mother.

My fingers are tightly crossed on the nursing thing too. Even though this past weekend had me rejected/undertreated by both ERs, the sample dose of the home orders was pretty effective. So I'm optimistic about whenever it starts.

Good lord, why am I having such a massive sinus headache right now? I think I might need a fucking lie down, and the work day just started. At least I'm working from home.

Bon's throwaway mention of some society douche lord I've never heard of has me way deeper in businessinsider.com than I've ever been before. Maybe that's the sinus migraine explanation...

Anyway: How many of you have had the way you think about shopping changed by any of these apps: [link] ? I've only used eBay mobile of the ten.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I use the Target app, but I wouldn't say it changes the way I shop. And I guess I've used the Starbucks app, but only for store locations.

Congrats to Mr. Cashmere and good luck with the bonus!

I don't shop via app. I find even the Amazon app to be kind of difficult: it doesn't give me all the information I need. Give me a full computer interface, please.

Oh, dear. Courtesy of BoingBoing, a site that gives you a fresh conspiracy theory every time you refresh: [link]

Kind of unsettling, but fascinating.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

THAT'S AWESOME. I am going to believe in all of those. Plus, I need to set up my ham radio system, so I can get more information via anonymous shortband broadcasts about how the US Census bureau is giving me celiac disease! I need to know!

Also I'm thinking about abstaining from social media and wheat over Lent. These things are unrelated to me reading the above website, I swear.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

eBay has enough specific functionality that an app is decently suited for me. I am curious about what app/meatspace store integration can bring to the table, but other than comparison shopping (and Amazon's app is designed for you to leave the store, not spend), I have to admit ignorance of the functionality they try and lure customers with.

Also, I'd want a "theoretically" vendor-neutral comparison shopping app, even as I accept it's not really going to make sense for anyone to do that.

Liese congrats! That's awesome!

Cash, that sounds like its good for DH but possibly a little harrowing for you being all single parent esque several days a week. Good luck!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, man -- I forgot I had a massage scheduled for Saturday, and now it's cancelled! They live in the woods, so are concerned about the snow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, so I have an email from the fancy salon around the corner from my house about a mani/pedi deal -- I'll see if I can do that on Saturday. I need some personal services!

Oh, right, snow. I have no idea, I assume it's separate systems, but we're supposed to get badass winds tomorrow, and then three days of snow. During which we'll have two days of concerts, and then school. And our band will be coming in from Flagstaff. Oy.
