"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Their lunch smells like dirty socks.

Maybe they are doing laundry in the microwave.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I got a big plate of Indian food for lunch, and didn't finish it, so now the rest is sitting in my trash can and smelling up my office. You're welcome!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, do not dispose of food in your office trash can! Do you not have a kitchen to smell up?

Consuela, it definitely sounds like your father has more at his disposal than he can safely be trusted to control. I hope the testing works well and simply.

GodDAMN, Hec. That woman almost convinced me to get a fade. She looks amazing. The kind that makes mortal humans wonder why their lives don't look like staged and retouched professional photographs.

My baring my mistakes went as well as one could expect. I just lay it out there that it was all my fault so no one had a chance to dig in and blame me for anything. And I also explained how my future behaviour would change to avoid a repeat performance. Worked like a charm. Except for the email I replied to with the completely wrong topic...I am going to have to triple check everything before hitting save or send until I get my neurons back under control.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, how are things going? I realize nothing will make it better but I've always felt like I was more in control if I went in with a complete my responsibility, I know I have to fix things and that you feel like you've been let down. What can I do to ameliorate it? If I start there, then I take less beating. Might just be my workplace.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

It's 1pm. Why am I falling asleep at my desk?

tommyrot - Feb 06, 2013 8:25:55 am PST #10103 of 30001
Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's 1pm. Why am I falling asleep at my desk?

Go ahead and sleep. In fact, we should all sleep at our desks.

Because books.

That's a lot to handle still, Consuela. Especially the falling -- what's the level of medical care? They should be reporting that to you each time as it happens, I would think.

My baring my mistakes went as well as one could expect.

That's good to hear!

Not really! There are other trash cans down the hall, but that just seems shady.

My baring my mistakes went as well as one could expect.

Well that's something. You have no idea how much I fuck things up when I just stay up past 11. I would definitely be unable to function if I were dealing with what you are dealing with.

They have been, pretty much, although not at midnight on Saturday or whatever.

Right now they're only getting check-ins and medication management, I believe. We will need to up that to help with basic functions, and medication management for my Dad, who is far more confused than he was even six months ago.

He's not going to want to stop driving: I'm going to make the doctor tell him.
