Yay for good scan!
I'm only claustrophobic in crowds. MRIs are blessedly individual.
I went to the farmers' market in Decatur and got peaches and heirloom tomatoes. The latter makes me realize that I need BACON. I also had a second breakfast of a baked doughnut with real caramel frosting. I don't want to quibble, since it's one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth, but isn't a baked doughnut a muffin with a hole in the middle?
Mom's had to have several MRI's and after hsving a screaming panic attack during the first one, she always gets a valium beforehand.

I never know what's what. I love what they call the cinnamon fry cakes at Wegmans', but as far as I can tell they're just dense donuts with cinnamon sugar on them.
Good luck, Suzi!
Burrell, it looks good on us.
Oo pretty! I like Vampsterdam as well.
I want all of those OPI colors, weirdly.
I love the OPI color that I got for my pedicure on vacation (Yoga-ta Get This Blue [on my toes: [link] but I can't decide if I want that dark of a blue on my fingernails. (Well, I can't even remember the last time I painted my fingernails -- probably a year or 2. But I think that color might look kind of cool.)
That's a pretty blue, Steph. I think I used to have that one.
There are a lot of sky blues out there right now, if you don't want to go that dark on your fingers.
In the MRI changing room there was an article about a woman who'd caught fire (Katniss, is that you???) a couple years ago. I guess it was some federal mandatory revealing, or something. It talked about the whole incident in very distant terms (20 centimetres of flame), and that they'd gone on MRIing people after that, and then that it had been determined that it was because her blouse was conductive.
Why is she wearing a blouse during a scan of her shoulder? I've never been allowed to do that.
Good luck Suzi!
Sweet, blessed silence. After more than 15 hours of that damnable alarm the message I left with the building "emergency" voicemail drop finally got someone out to shut the thing off. I was seriousy considering adding rubber gloves and a sledgehammer to my weekend cardio routine.
I went to look at the vintage car show. Pretty cool.
I got drugged before my MRI. It didn't help. I got further drugged. Didn't help. I ended up having to go in feet first with my arms stretched above my head, which only worked because they were looking at my back.
Next time it's either an open MRI or I'm unconscious.
