I hope you're feeling better this morning!
Thanks Jessica. I'm trying to blow through my to-dos early, before the sleep deprivation hits in the afternoon.
do we really have to help them if they refuse to spell words right? I don't think that's fair

I'm assuming that this zero grain lifestyle goes hand in hand with it?
Paleo's certainly opposed to processed grains, although I think some of them will eat whole grains, if it's the sort of thing that hunter/gatherers would eat.
Probably paleo is pro-quinoa!
And now, small children in adorable cosplay
Zombaby is awesome! As is the young Kaylee.

Silliest comment on anti-grain rant: "while I am on the fence about the whole grain issue I have to say Jesus Christ did eat bread did he not?"

Well, sorry one lady, anyway: [link]
Wow, this is the ideal man for crazy co-worker. She is on board with all this stuff.
On the big pile 'o dog poop, I don't get it. Even as a self absorbed teen I would have cleaned it up. I was raised with pets though. Cleaning up pet accidents is one of the few house maintenance items I don't have to tell the boys to do. They have some common sense, and nose sense.
From reading that page, all grains are bad, ones with gluten and fibre are extra bad.
And, man, I got that link from an IO9 article, and it's
awfully
written. Like, it could be the second coming of nutritional Jesus, but there's no real compulsion to take the author seriously because of how he writes and how he cites.
However, I tend to want to toss the baby out with the bathwater as soon as you tell me the bathwater cures cancer. Reflex.
My friend who does Paleo is adamantly opposed to all grains. Given she's lost like 100 pounds (and become insanely fit doing CrossFit) since she went Paleo 2 years ago, I'm not inclined to argue with her.
There is a lot of disagreement among the Paleo crowd about what exactly our H/G ancestors would or would not have eaten, and it can get quite involved, but they all seem to agree that grains are Right Out.
The thing I notice about the paleo diet? They aren't eating a lot of insects, are they? I am pretty sure our cavemen ancestors dined on grubs and crickets a lot more than they did steak.
I think it would be easier and simpler to just eat moderately, but I guess we don't do moderation in the US.

Seriously--we're being held to the same standard Google is, and Google's not even held to the standard Google is.
Which makes sense, I swear. People both tout it as perfect search at the same time as they have no outlet to file complaints about it, so it isn't even as perfect as they imply.
Just, they know where I sit, so my search gets complained about a little harder.
