Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe you get extra points for completing without a drill?

One of the projects in my lap is improving search in one of our applications. I'm looking at the search terms for January alone, and...do we really have to help them if they refuse to spell words right? I don't think that's fair.

I haven't paid much attention to the paleo diet (other than to look funnily at people who tell me it's better because the cavemen did it). I'm assuming that this zero grain lifestyle goes hand in hand with it?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I hope you're feeling better this morning!

Thanks Jessica. I'm trying to blow through my to-dos early, before the sleep deprivation hits in the afternoon.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Paleo's certainly opposed to processed grains, although I think some of them will eat whole grains, if it's the sort of thing that hunter/gatherers would eat.

Probably paleo is pro-quinoa!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And now, small children in adorable cosplay

Zombaby is awesome! As is the young Kaylee.

Silliest comment on anti-grain rant: "while I am on the fence about the whole grain issue I have to say Jesus Christ did eat bread did he not?"

Our wings are not tired.

Well, sorry one lady, anyway: [link]

Wow, this is the ideal man for crazy co-worker. She is on board with all this stuff.

On the big pile 'o dog poop, I don't get it. Even as a self absorbed teen I would have cleaned it up. I was raised with pets though. Cleaning up pet accidents is one of the few house maintenance items I don't have to tell the boys to do. They have some common sense, and nose sense.

From reading that page, all grains are bad, ones with gluten and fibre are extra bad.

And, man, I got that link from an IO9 article, and it's awfully written. Like, it could be the second coming of nutritional Jesus, but there's no real compulsion to take the author seriously because of how he writes and how he cites.

However, I tend to want to toss the baby out with the bathwater as soon as you tell me the bathwater cures cancer. Reflex.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My friend who does Paleo is adamantly opposed to all grains. Given she's lost like 100 pounds (and become insanely fit doing CrossFit) since she went Paleo 2 years ago, I'm not inclined to argue with her.

There is a lot of disagreement among the Paleo crowd about what exactly our H/G ancestors would or would not have eaten, and it can get quite involved, but they all seem to agree that grains are Right Out.
