Our pup chewed off most the wrappings of his splint last night, so we cut the whole thing off. Looks like the splint was rubbing his poor little dewclaw raw. Since his broken toe is not a weight-bearing one, we decided to just leave it off. I hate to disobey the vet, but he seems happier and much more comfortable. Being a BUffista, I researched the matter and splinting for toe breaks is apparently a BIG kerfuffle in the dog world.

Curtain-sewing progress: Three long hems done! One more long hem, and then four short ones, and I'll have the first pair of curtains done. I'm kind of slacking on the ironing part for the long hems, but I need to actually do it for the short ones. I'm not so good at that part. I always end up burning my fingers when I try to iron the folds for folding in an edge twice.
Considering you didn't leave my place until after midnight...
Yeah, I'll be napping this afternoon. I will have to remember that I need to get to bed as early as I can this week, because the dogs are unforgiving.
Health~ma to your cousin, Matt.
Goodness, I'm sleepy. Aside from a walk and some housework I've been pretty lazy. Not sure where the tired is coming from.

Well, huh. I did a quick google of a misspelling in one of the okcenemies tumblr posts, and it is for real. I mean, the profile exists. If the guy who created the profile is assing around, well....well, I kind of hope so, actually. See what I mean?.
I made curtains!
You go, Hil! That's awesome!
That is definitely the correct response to that profile, Hil.
Huh. I know this sounds judgey, but if that profile is 100% honest, I'd suspect a head injury, mostly for the pervasive spelling errors and lack of filter.
