And a hot boyfriend who said I could post this picture: [link].
That is a...really nice picture. Really.
On other matters -
Dear dog: I put that leftover pasta in your bowl. It is for you. You do not need to sneak up, gobble a bite and dash back out over and over again. It is for you.
P.S. I will remove the cat this one time. If she muscles you out of your food again, you're on your own. Dog up.
Wow, brenda -- your dog can read??
Is there anything they can do to let more people vote if they run out of ballots?
Maybe photocopy some more?
Oh dear. On the one hand, yay high turnout, but if anyone can't vote because there aren't ballots, that's seriously fucked up.
If I learned anything from the Far Side, it's that dogs can write (which I think implies reading) but they can't spell.
Polls are closed, but NBC News declares the race too close to call.
Considering how Walker was up 7% (give or take) in polls, I guess this is good news.
This is seriously fucked:

"This is what I did," she told the guy from the election board, who was sitting on a window sill, while an observer from the state Democratic party looked on. "I took the turnout from 2008 and 2010 and I averaged them, and I ordered 1100 ballots for 203. They sent me 700. And I'm also thinking that my own estimate was low. So, I sent something I thought was low, and they didn't even send me that many. The rest of them are back in the warehouse. Now, I'm thinking there's going to be a rush at about five o'clock when people get out of work, and they're telling me to call them when I get down to 100 ballots left. I'm going to call them when I have 200 ballots left, just to make sure there's enough time for them to get here."
She should have estimated much higher in the first place, given the high interest in the election. I mean, duh.
If it ends up being really close and a substantial number of people couldn't vote...I think it will be not good, in a variety of ways.
