Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yeah, it's a bit sweet, ita.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If the sweet thing stays, I'd need a sauce that distracts from that. The basil marinara I have in a jar isn't cutting it enough. The sweet taste at the edges nauseated me. I'm tempted to toss the rest of the 2-meal pack. Eating it was not nice.

I shoulda fucking stood to my squash hating ways. Butter and nuts? Pfah. Not then with squash.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Blue cheese crumbles will cut the sweetness, or any bitter green. Or cayenne pepper.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I've had several versions with rosemary, such as rosemary and browned butter. I can see how it would be too sweet with marinara.

mac is a giant pouter since I announced that playtime for the day is over. GIANT POUTER! stomping around whenever I ask him to do something, but he is not turning on the tv or games, so win.

I am listing things on ebay and starting half price books bag and a good will bag.

I think if I get 5 things listed on ebay it will be a triumph. I have had a box of things in my living room for over a year.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That actually sounds really fabulous to me right now. But I don't have any idea what I'm actually going to have for dinner.

So I'm girlified at the moment. I used the pink polish from my OPI box, and it was too pink! So I added Sinful's Glass Pink, which...did not make it less pink, but made it sparkly too. And then I did this (link goes to youtube video) victory roll ponytail from my favorite makeup video blogger. It came out okay, but I think I can do better with practice.

I'm trying to figure out hair, because I feel like I like long hair, but then when I have it, I never know how to put it up in anyway that's not totally childish.

I'm also thinking about cutting it. How much effort in styling do you think would have to go into Black Widow's hair here? (Total of 8 pics, you can scroll through.) Mine is not naturally curly, obviously, and even if I did color it wouldn't end up that red. I suspect with those caveats, this would just be my same bob that I figure is going to end up being my old lady hair. You know, the haircut that people just keep getting once they get to a certain age that makes it clear to everyone in the room what era they were adolescent in? Mine is going to be the 90's bob, and I don't know if I can fight it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

By that logic, my old lady hair is going to be backcombed and hairsprayed within an inch of someone else's life. Yay!

Hmmm, maybe I should indulge in Big Hair next week. That's always fun.

I"m having minor hair angst lately. My hair has become so much coarser since I hit my 40s and it just doesn't fall the way it used to. sigh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Shit, my hair's already been basically the same for at least ten years, and I'm not even 40!
