I sold my cassettes yesterday. Two wooden 100 count racks full, and the racks (which were hinged together and had a latch & handle so that it could be carried suitcase style). The way the employees were digging through them I'd be surprised if much makes it out to the sales floor. I guess my stuff is totally retro! I should sell more things.
Project pack the bedroom continues. The linen closet and very large hall closet are mostly empty. I still need to clear the tops of the kitchen cabinets. Once the last load of laundry is out of the dryer I'll finish packing my suitcase then get the filing cabinet and drafting table into the bedroom and get the rest of the miscellaneous stuff on those flat surfaces. Sofa, chairs, & desk will happen in the morning. It's the 3-D Tetris Home Game!
seems that Jason Biggs made one more in a sequence of asshole tweets yesterday, riffing on Mad Dog and homeless black people.
I saw him making "hilarious" tweets about gay Green Lantern yesterday as well.
I didn't know anyone would buy cassettes! Wow.
I'm still trying to decide if I should get dressed and buy groceries, or if getting dressed is too much effort. Or if once I manage to get dressed, I should do something more awesome than groceries.
I didn't know anyone would buy cassettes! Wow.
1/2 Price Books! I didn't get a lot for them, but they're out of my home and I can buy lunch for a couple of days.
This is awesome. Darby"s rescue group is working with a puppy who was quite gruesomely abused and needing serious medical care. (He"s named after Jennifer Hudson, since they both earned a lot of scars coming up in Englewood.) stepping up to help raise funds is Arbor the Painting Dog, another rescue with unique talents. [link] I kind of want that painting, and the vid is adorbs..
awesome people doing awesome things are awesome. continuing to wrangle papers. onto stack #2.
I'm repeating myself cause I don't quite believe it. I will be testing for my "green with brown stripe" belt on the 16th.
My shoulder surgery was March 8th and I'm still in the recovery zone as far as non-normal activities. My freaking out is still high.
Suzi, that's amazing! Congrats!
Go you, Suzi!
So far today we took our pup to his first obedience class, then drove around to a lot of dealers where I test drove cars. I am pretty set on the Mazda 2. I have the DH to be all expert-y and look at reliability and mileage and stuff so I can concentrate on the IMPORTANT stuff like color and cuteness. I want a blue one so I can call it the TARDIS.
