Thanks, Suzi! I just got it and read it. My weight's been high but stable for years, so I'm hoping if I can kick it back to a lower threshold that I can maintain. What's interesting is that the simple act of manipulating the stomach seems to have a big effect on insulin, which is why my doc is suggesting this.
