Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Totally. That was such a mix of "I knew that was gonna happen." and "I so did not see that coming!"

I want someone to write a paper analyzing the significance and/or symbolism of Victoria Grayson's chair.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Didn't Kathy A have gastric bypass? I'd ask her for deets Connie, but it seems like her surgery went really well.

Thanks, Suzi! I just got it and read it. My weight's been high but stable for years, so I'm hoping if I can kick it back to a lower threshold that I can maintain. What's interesting is that the simple act of manipulating the stomach seems to have a big effect on insulin, which is why my doc is suggesting this.

We got a counter offer on the house we like today. But they sent counters to multiple buyers. Sigh. At least it hadn't gone to auction yet.

I am sadly not. I am going to be in San Diego for family stuff just before that time but I don't think there's really going to be even a break for me to come to LA.

Hmm... if there was another way that did not include dry ice, I'd happily share chiles with you. I think I may slow cook a chile stew since I have pork in the freezer.

Since msbelle is trying to tempt with pets, I offer her this one: [link]

What are tempting are pigs. But I want a little tiny pig, like under 40 lbs. One that I can dress in a tutu. Also, I want a place to live and to lose more weight. And to stop being gray. And for Grace to be decannulated and speaking. And for Noah to stop peeing on himself.

What I really need is the Calming Manatees.
