Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am pretty sure there is about to be an admin position at my company if any bussistas want to take me up on that "move to Texas" thing. I promise to find you a house for less than $200K near me. I also promise you hours of entertainment.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Consuela, seriously. I'd be hiding and breaking shit by now.

I just read a tumblr post that's vehemently against Ace bandages as binding. They say what the possible side-effects are, but I'd really like an indication of the number of people who break their ribs because they used a stretchy bandage.

  • Don’t bind with bandages! Ever!
  • Using bandages to bind is harmful and may cause: shortness of breath, bruising, broken ribs, fluid build-up in lungs, long term health effects, etc! Yuck!
  • You have other options! Bandages are not one of them!

I know people who have passed out from binding too tightly with ace bandages. On the other hand, one of the popular alternatives was duct tape, so I don't think that's BETTER...but that was mostly for performances, not daily living. I think the issue is that with binders, you're going to be tight...but if it's TOO tight, you're unlikely to be able to get it ON. Whereas ace bandages you can wrap pretty damn tightly and not realize it. ...but I dunno about breaking ribs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And call me crazy, but Ace bandages are readily available and cheap -- better to educate people about how not to do it wrong?

Apparently it's always wrong, Jesse.

Because books.

Okay, it took me a minute to understand what was being bound there, since I'm thinking, but don't you *use* an Ace bandage to wrap an injury?! Duh.

S. has a phone interview at four. I'm crossing my fingers, because anything has to be better than the job he has now, which sucks big hairy donkey balls.

Oh, OK then. Nevermind!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

brenda,

I'm committed to finishing it, but I wonder if they will implicate the brother killing his older sister. It would be wild, but there has to be a reason they are showing this behavior, yes?
