I'm committed to finishing it, but I wonder if they will implicate the brother killing his older sister. It would be wild, but there has to be a reason they are showing this behavior, yes?
Incidentally, Group Health (which provides most medical care in Olympia0 as a general rule refuses to bandage broken ribs because of the danger of pneumonia, I don't know if this applies to all broken ribs. I would imagine there are some you would have to bandage.

On The Killing? I do not think there is necessarily a reason, no. I swear they are just throwing every damn thing they can think of into the plot.

My take on the kid acting out is that it's in reaction to the whole Rosie thing. They've certainly been laying the "worst parents in the world" thing on pretty thick, so this could be of a piece with that. But who the hell knows.
