Lose/loose is really common, but I see all kinds of stuff in fic especially. "By afternoon, there was an unsettling feeling in his stomach," for instance, when they mean unsettled. And "more suiting words come to mind," instead of suitable.

I just came across a box full of stuff from my maternal grandfather's time in the service. There are also a bunch of newspaper clippings about a Senator. I have no idea how this guy is connected to our family, but there are enough references to him in the box that I'll need to ask my cousins. So many cool things in that box. I think my favorite is a wedding invitation from 1898. Again, no idea who the bride and groom are, but still...cool.

We watched a cricket match in a pub in Ireland. . Which made DH read two books on how it is played and asked a bunch of people around here ( English , Indian , Pakistani) .Not sure he understands it . My friend C ( English ) says it is a lovely place to read a book.
