I scanned almost 400 pictures on Sat. and Sun. and am now uploading them to Flickr.
Here's a question: On some of the photos I have identified my mom's parents as "Grampa and Grandma xxxx" (with real last name, obviously).
Now I'm thinking I shouldn't, as anyone seeing that will know my mom's maiden name.
Thoughts?
Do you mean for bank-security type reasons? I don't really see it as a big deal. I mean, if my mother's maiden name weren't my middle name (which it is) I'm facebook friends with a bunch of people from that side of the family, etc -- it just seems like not actually a secret any more.
I also have a question! (Probably not for tommyrot...) I was going through my closet and pulled out several dresses to take to Goodwill, but I have an unworn J. Peterman dress that I'm wondering if it's worth trying to sell. It's this one: [link]
It looks stupid on me. I wish I had just sent it back when I got it!
My mother uses her maiden name as her last name, and so do I. I think bank security has gone a little more secure than that at this point.

Makes sense.
I was just feeling paranoid as I'm using the social features of flickr and having flickr import my facebook friends. I'm losing my anonymity, if that makes sense.
Also, check out baby me, if you haven't seen it already on Facebook.
eta: Fixed typo.
That sucks, Jesse. It's really pretty.
I hate hangovers. Someone remind me when I drink the next time?
Aw, baby! I'm pretty sure my grandparents had that chair, too.
I loved that chair. When I was two and three, I used to sit in it and rock myself for hours.
Wow. It's a shame that didn't suit you, Jesse. It's very pretty. If we were the same size I'd try and get it off you.
Tommy, I just left surnames off the family pictures I put up. I feel more comfortable that way.
Gawker did a web search for the answers to the likely security questions for a number of celebs, and then made a "point" that no one should take this information and hack anyone.
I'm pretty sure Denton would have loved it if someone had, though.
