Look at how beautiful this is
It really is. If you described that to me, I wouldn't picture anything that lovely.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Mmm, bacon.
I just made a 58-point word in Words With Friends, so I feel my work for the day is done.
Great picture, Steph.
Now that I've fallen down the glove rabbit hole, I'm even more confused. In particular, almost every brand has people who say the gloves run large and people who say they're small. Same gloves, same size. Glove sizes have been a problem for me, and most garden gloves are too small. I keep thinking that surely men need gloves. My hands were large to begin with, and the one hand is now a size larger.
Glove sizing is a mess, what fits my palms never fits my fingers and there's no constancy anyway. I can't help you there, is my point, I guess.
Ha, I do have an Avengers-appropriate T-shirt! Take that, self.
damn! He's a vegetarian, right?
That means I GET THEM ALL.
Did I miss it? Livejournal's not on the list, right? Sometimes I feel like LJ is invisible (and DW even moreso). For me it's the difference between fans and fandom. On IO9, for instance, the LJ-knowledgeable people are a pretty easily identifiable group, predominantly female fic-readers at the very least.
I wasn't expecting to finish up that picture I posted earlier--that was just me practicing doped up on dilaudid, but I do kinda like how it turned out, and Colin gave me a thumbs up, so I will put it up places.
Below the graphic:
...Livejournal, Tumblr, myYearbook, Catster, and other sites are not represented at all...
I suspect LJ and Tumblr would both skew heavily female. I don't know the other two.
Ugh you guys -- I went out to do errands and then was going to go for a walk, but the dry cleaner was closed! So I had to bring my stuff back here. And then I accidentally turned the TV on, and it's a Storage Wars marathon! I do have freelance work to do, so I guess I'll do that.
Film magic: student creates luminous dress from old slide film | DVICE
This shiny little black dress is a knockout on its own. But, for those of us who love wearable technology we get a little bit of a surprise when embedded LED backlights come on in the dress. As ambient light dims and the dress lights up we find it is woven out of old film slides so there are hundreds of little snapshots to enjoy.
Wow. If I went on a date with a woman wearing this dress and things started to get amorous, I'd be all, "No, don't take it off. I want to look at it some more."
