Hoping all the unnecessary drama ceases.

My latest batch of cold brewed coffee is definitely the best.

Woke up well before my alarm again, which while set later for the weekend, 'well before'=before 6. Ohhhkaaay. At least it was my head that finally gave up, rather than the cats being annoying assholes. But the sweet spot where I can air out the house. And go swim before the Y closes, after lounging around for a bit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Auto correct with swype is a whole new sort of bobbling. Iman, boggling. I mean I mean. See?

Trust my rage

ita, I'm glad you said unrelatedly, because I was feeling stupid for a moment.

And yes, he needs a sugar mamma. I'm pretty sure this new desire to quit his job and be unemployed is a classic case of post-divorce "you cant make me" wrt money.

I reread his email and it wasn't quite as nuts as I thought at 3am. Still crazy wrt the money but not so much with the kids. You know, I *know* I made the right decision for me and I'm certain I did for the kids. But if I had to do it all over again, I might have stayed married just so I wasn't losing so much ability to shape their lives. (which is another word for control but I just think he routinely makes such bad decisions )

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, dealing with uncertainty is hard enough for me alone. It must be a thousand times harder with kids, especially when it's ABOUT the kids! Yikes. Good luck, y'all.

ION, I just got an email from eShakti:

Dear Jesse

Thank you for your order with eShakti.com.

Today is the 4th business day from the date of your order. Due to a dramatic rise in recent order levels, we are experiencing a production delay of approximately 10 days from the scheduled ship dates.

We take responsibility for this, and upon shipping your order, we will compensate you by crediting your credit card account. This discount will be reckoned by the number of days of delay. Upon shipment of your order, we will notify you of the credit.

I am disappointed, but impressed!

Okay, this is me fixing something that dissatisfied me in The Avengers (no spoiler): [link]

I'm not finished, but it's a start.

What does eShakti sell? I'm going to go take a look. I want money back. If only I could work out how to get it without spending first...

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Started the day by:

  • husband waking up early
  • husband falling to the floor while getting out of bed
  • scaring the dog sleeping next to the bed
  • who jumped up on the bed
  • and peed all over the bed
  • husband got up from falling down
  • and found he threw his back out
  • did I mention we have a house full of family
  • because he turns 50 tomorrow.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Okay, this is me fixing something that dissatisfied me in The Avengers

Colin looks too *nice*. I can't see it. OTOH, if Colin wanted to grow his hair out a bit and slounge and sneer and play a villain, I would watch that.

eShakti sells clothes, that you can have them customize.

Scrappy, that sucks. Hope he feels better quickly.

Oh dear, Scrappy! Poor husband. And then poor you, because you'll have to deal with everything!

What does eShakti sell?

Pretty pretty dresses. I saw on FB that Steph bought one, so I immediately copied her and ordered the same one. And also another one.

hip deep in pie

Oh Scrappy.

I have never bought from eShakti, but I am always tempted because you can customize length and add sleeves.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Speaking of Steph, has anyone seen her pixels since she told us about collapsing?

Poor Scrappy and husband. It sounds like "The Night the Bed Fell," except I suppose no one was calling "Hark" and throwing shoes.

Has anyone found a brand or type of protective gloves for things like washing dishes that are not yucky and don't make your hands sweat? I hate gloves. After years of resistance, I managed to make myself wear gloves while gardening. Now, however, this stupid medicine essentially makes the skin on my hands very thin, and I think I'm going to have to find something I can tolerate. However, I don't want to have to buy All The Gloves to do it.

A completely unrelated question, except that both are all about me: QR codes on business cards - effective or so 2010s?
