We're getting blueberries here which is a world of yum.

Ugh is right.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Totes, Kat. I hope something good happens for you soon, to help even things out a little.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Huh?

Isn't that odd, tommy? But I did notice when I visited England that they are very resolute about not pronouncing words with their foreign pronunciation. I didn't realize they considered it pretentious. I always thought it was more obnoxious to say "Macho" like "Matcho." We're colonizing your words and they'll live under our rules!

What's funny and deeply ironic is that while we were looking at houses, K told our realtor, "I absolutely do not want to do a short sale. It sounds like a nightmare!"

But we really like the house. We'll see.

Oh man, Kat.

OH well. Not much to be done about it.

Grace is awake and Noah is still asleep. I have a weekend of twin wrangling on my own because K is out of town. Sigh.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I was just marvelling this morning that we've been eating local strawberries since early April! And they are still coming in, along with blueberries, peaches, and corn. Love the long growing season here. Strawberries in New England don't come in till June and they don't last too long either.

I hear that. I always buy a lot and freeze them.

Our wings are not tired.

Too much, Kat. I hope you catch a break soon.

And our growing season is over. The farmer's markets and CSA pickups close in April.
