And I myself will be wearing pink taffeta as chenille would not go with my complexion.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

True, true.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

9. Pretentious pronunciation.
Americans, please note: saying “erb” instead of “herb” and pronouncing “fillet” without the “t” is not clever or sophisticated. You are not French. Make an actual socialist your president and then we’ll talk.

Huh?

I love it. Want. But I have no reason or place to wear it so just admire it from afar.

RE: temp move and short sale. There are a couple of issues with the temp move. Nightmare for kids - check! Nightmare for moms - check! Nightmare for our dog - check! It's probable we could spend the summer at a friend's place (Burrell, check it out, she lives in Ivanhoe's attendance area so if we did that, we could move into her place, and pay her utilities, which we would) in our names and then enroll N&G at Ivanhoe which is on the way to work for K) because she and her son go to Massachusetts each summer.

But there was another offer on the house and it's possible they won't accept ours at all. And even if the sellers do, it's possible that their bank won't approve it. They have two mortgages on this house and they are offering it at less than $150,000 what they paid for it before they pulled equity out a second time.

We'll see what the banks say. But we're told it could take up to 5 months to close.

Market haul (and for $29.50!): asparagus, pint and a quart of strawberries, pint of the first white cherries, 1/2 lb of salad greens, 2 empanadas and a flower to plant in the pot Taylor gave me. And now I need to do my store errands.

Discovered a massive bruise (raised even) on my wrist. I know I got it putting in the AC, but I'm not sure how. I don't remember whacking it in particular, but I was whacking a lot of things. However, since it is supposed to hit near 100 today, REALLY GLAD I put it in last night. Whoof.

OK, time to run out.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Strawberries. Right.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was just trying to decide if I wanted to hit OSH for some plants and then hit TJs and the Farmers market before they all got too crowded. I should feel inspired by Sarameg, but I am not sure I've had enough coffee yet.

Ugh is right.

Totes, Kat. I hope something good happens for you soon, to help even things out a little.
