Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

the bereavement fares were barely worth it unless you need flexible dates upon your return. You can just about do better just getting something through priceline or kayak than try bereavement if you have fixed dates coming and going.

I don't think they can beat most of the prices, it might be the ease of me canceling, rebooking and then rebooking again though. My flights out are pretty set because they don't have a lot of warning. It has been coming back that keeps being put off. Still, one online change fee is less than the difference between a changeable ticket and once that nets fees.

I don't know how full-time caregivers do it: my sister & I had to stop for drinks on the way home.

I think they drink. And they are often really amazing people. Who have the benefit of not taking the awfulness and sadness personally. But I still think they are amazing.

I think it must be one of the hardest jobs out there.

If I go punch a neighbor in the face, do we have attorney Buffistas around?

edit: I will likely not punch anyone. But I might ask them to hush it. Oddly, they were quieter when I walked out. I don't think they noticed me. I just think they have no idea when they are stupid loud.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've still got four episodes of Awake to go.

I saw an excellent production of A Little Night Music tonight. I'm wondering if there are any tickets still available for Angels In America this weekend. I'm also trying to figure out if I want to go see Poi Dog Pondering by myself.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Oooh, does this mean I get to intimidate your neighbors the next time I visit? I love that game!

It's a very good game. Especially for me. Stupid people not knowing I have secret weapons...

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Hold on. So we as a collective have a service to decorate AND intimidate neighbors? Damn. I'm missing out.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

So, the woman on facebook who wanted us to use "feline partner" is now thinking that we shouldn't distinguish between cat people and dog people because it is divisive. She thinks we should talk about our "Fur Babies" or "Anipals".

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ANIPALS.

I clearly need to be following more crazy people.
