My laptop tells me all the time Chrome is taking up too much memory and should be closed and restarted. I thought Chrome was supposed to *not* be an energy hog.

Nope--roomie and I got a foster cat from the Humane Society back in...March? Nobody seems too interested in adopting him, but I suspect their evil plan is to foster out cats and then hope people keep them. Our evil plan is to not adopt him so that we can still give him back if we are on vacation or if he needs medical care. (I don't especially want a perma-cat, roomie isn't sure where she'll be in another year, so...)
le n, option A would be cheaper...but option B involves first class! :)

No, sadly the things I want to be there for are two weeks apart--if they were one week apart I'd totally do a three legged flight or something, but no. Using a conference in Baltimore as an excuse to hang out with friends out there and in DC, and then going to Decadence in New Orleans.
