After reading Yo, Is This Racist, I'm pretty sure every group of people is super racist.

I'm really sad that I'm pretty sure Minnetonka moccasins are racist, because Casper wants a pair.
I know! I love him so much and read him every day. Have you guys been following Yo, should I dump this asshole, too? Also funny. But in all seriousness, despite the swears and general goofiness, I genuinely believe he is doing a good work.
Kat, so sorry about the surgery. I had been hopeful.
We are doing our own urgent care waiting room time. Dave was running around with the kids at recess today and probably tore his calf muscle. It may be more minor than that, I hope. But his pain tolerance is so high, I'm concerned.
Given the potential long recovery time, our summer may be borked, and definitely our last day of lessons was. There is supposed to be a party tomorrow, and two closing ceremonies, tomorrow and Thurs, and both of those are in question.
Oh, fucking god, I don't know if you've met racists until you've met all Jamaicans.
Equality is wonderful, call me when we get there.
Damn, Liese. I hope it's as minor as possible.

Ouch! My calf strain (tear between muscle and tendon) hurt like a gunshot. Not that I've been shot. But it was so immediate and sharp.

Yeah, he said the pain was like that. Plus he heard a "pop" when it happened. I'm guessing not good.
ION, Matilda is home sick with a fever and a cough. Which sucks because this is her last week of school and it cut into my Toddson time.
Still, I was able to have breakfast with Todd (Zazie, 'natch), and then drove her through GG Park and out to the ocean. We stopped at Green Apple books for a bit, then went to Japantown and poked around some more.
Then I made Todd go to TJ's with me when I got the call about Matilda. JZ collected Matilda from school and after I came home with groceries she tagged out and headed back to work.
Also, we got Emmett's baseball schedule this summer and it will be crazy busy. Though the good part is that it's mostly games and not much practice, so it's just bang bang bang game game game.
He also got his orientation at work so I have the sinking suspicion that I'll be chauffeuring him about quite a bit this summer. (His job is nowhere near any public transit, which I didn't know was possible in the Bay Area, but Alameda is its own fiefdom.)

More hyperbolous? "I felt like I was shot with a rail gun loaded with shurikens!"
A lot of people with strained muscles compare it to getting shot. (I didn't think it was a bullet, but I thought somebody had nailed me with a pellet gun.)
Yeah, he said the pain was like that. Plus he heard a "pop" when it happened. I'm guessing not good.
Yeah, see! Fortunately, it's not a long term problem. Unfortunately, it hurts and is easy to reinjure. You have to baby it for about six weeks.

Shurikens covered with fire ants!
