"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sophia,

when I had surgery for a "female problem" they gave me temp underwear which was mesh held together on the sides with medical tape.

this is all to say, with some ingenuity, I think you could have fashioned yourself with appropriate undergarments using a smaller pair, scissors, and an ace bandage.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

~ma for Kat and family!

Speaking of house things, I sent an email to our lawyer last night which contained the question:

Also, will not paying our June mortgage payment screw up whatever angle you're currently working with the CU or PMI company?

He wrote back and said:

I spoke with [banker] from [Credit Union] yesterday. The lender will start negotiations until you are at least 30 days in arrears on your mortgage. If the mortgage payment isn't made, the earliest I can begin negotiations is the middle of July at which time [credit union] will contact the PMI company. I spoke with [realtor] to update her and suggested that she keep our current buyers for as long as possible.

I actually don't know if that means if I should or shouldn't make our mortgage payment. Anyone have any thoughts?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Lots of house~ma, Kat. That place reminds me in a lot of ways of the house my best friend bought in the Oakland hills a couple of years ago, all stairs and porches and little rooms and nooks.

And general vibes to Nora, because I can't make heads or tails of that email from your lawyer and so can't vibe anything specific, and because you are so due for this stupid house misery to END.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I think there may be words missing from that e-mail. I'd try asking the lawyer directly.

Art Crawl!!!

House!ma Kat!

Love Clueless too.

People who don't like black and white and red together are just wrong.

Also - the grown-up puppy of the day is a very cute papillon-sheltie cross. Adorable!

Yesterday's grown-up pup was a pug that lives with a liver flatcoat. Both very cute.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Good luck to Kat and Grace for house and surgery!

pug that lives with a liver flatcoat.

I cannot figure out why I love smushed faced, wrinkled dogs so much. I LOVE pugs, but not as much as Shar-Pei's. I just want to squish their wrinkles!!!!

Now tagless for your comfort.

House~ma and surgery~ma for Grace!

I just used an app for Walgreen's to refill a prescription--scanned the bar code on the bottle. Took one second. I love living in the future.

Happy Birthday, Java Cat!

I was tired yesterday and laid down around 6pm thinking maybe I'd nap until I had dance class. I woke up when the alarm went off and said "no". Then I woke up around 10pm and thought fuck that, and slept until morning. 14 hours. Dang.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

House and hospital~ma for Kat.

And job~ma for Gud.

I'm equal parts annoyed with myself and with a local carpet cleaning service. I bought a 3-room carpet cleaning deal through Living Social, and I discovered when I went to schedule it that they don't do apartments. It was in the fine print of the deal, but I didn't look for it because I wasn't aware anti-apartment bias was a thing. Unfortunately it's too late to get my money back from Living Social. (Although I did email them mentioning that I wasn't happy about things and why.) I guess losing $55 will teach me to read the fine print in the future.
