Now tagless for your comfort.

House~ma and surgery~ma for Grace!

I just used an app for Walgreen's to refill a prescription--scanned the bar code on the bottle. Took one second. I love living in the future.

Happy Birthday, Java Cat!

I was tired yesterday and laid down around 6pm thinking maybe I'd nap until I had dance class. I woke up when the alarm went off and said "no". Then I woke up around 10pm and thought fuck that, and slept until morning. 14 hours. Dang.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

House and hospital~ma for Kat.

And job~ma for Gud.

I'm equal parts annoyed with myself and with a local carpet cleaning service. I bought a 3-room carpet cleaning deal through Living Social, and I discovered when I went to schedule it that they don't do apartments. It was in the fine print of the deal, but I didn't look for it because I wasn't aware anti-apartment bias was a thing. Unfortunately it's too late to get my money back from Living Social. (Although I did email them mentioning that I wasn't happy about things and why.) I guess losing $55 will teach me to read the fine print in the future.

Art Crawl!!!

I think pugs are kind of charming. I see one being walked in the morning when I'm on my way to work. Very cute.

Little video of Lava Man enjoying his retirement.

Trust my rage

Nora, I think the email is missing a "not". But I also think the lawyer isaybe not comfortable telling you straight out not to make the payment.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Fingers crossed for Grace's surgery today, Kat!

No! There are no eye wateringly clashing palettes of red, white, and black. They're, like, cosmically coordinated.

Beg to differ.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

But those are really all design issues (granted, horrible horrible design issues composed of pure evil), NSM palette issues.

Also, you do realize that we all owe you three eyeball-stabby links in return now, don't you?

After the Surinam toad live birth I saw in the past week (from a link here, I think), I am sufficiently desensitized to feel no dread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Beg to differ.

None of those have eye-searing palettes, though. The reds are a bit flat, in fact.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

SOOOO CUTE!!
