Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't even think that I've ever heard of Whitey, but I sure knew the story of the toddler Bulger.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

This is why I was so confused until I clicked through!

I know!

Though I did know what Williamsburg we were talking about.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's because you were in the Commonwealth in 1993, not Boston. (Right?)

Not unless there's something about Michigan you're not telling me.

(Actually, it was half and half)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Donna Summer passed away.

Damn.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

And the NY Post is reporting that Robert Kennedy Jr's wife hanged herself. Yikes.

It's...closer to Canada than to Boston? ANYWAY.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The DH did some work with her back when he was at William Morris. He said she was an amazingly kind woman and just lovely to be around. She and he husband seemed to have a great relationship. DH met EVERYONE back then and very few people stood out to him--she was one.

hip deep in pie

I just realized that Tom was not wandering around Colonial Williamsburg lamenting his lost youth...

Tom's not that old!!! (Unless he's a vampire.)

RIP Donna Summer, eh?

She did just correctly used "eh" in a sentence.
