Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I ordered a Fitbit this week, so I'm eager to see how well it works.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Instead of a gender complaint, request a fitbit instead of a pedo (and like 10x as much) because it can be attached to bra, in a pocket etc. And fun data!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Very Special Episode supercut.

I went in looking for two episodes, and they were back to back: Family Ties and slinging back vanilla, and Maude and abortion.

Got a text as I was falling asleep last night. The husband of the family member that died a month or so back left go himself. They were really both barely hanging on when we saw them at Christmas. This is a lot for the families to handle.

Lisah, I hope you and your DH are doing as okay as can be realistic.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I'm sorry for your family, ita.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the insurance co isn't springing for that. Not am I!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Lisa}} So sorry about Swifty.

Jesse: we're doing a walking challenge thing at work, too. My pedo doesn't work anywhere but on my shoe. I can even clip it to sandals and it works. Try it there.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'll try that tonight! (Walking home, I know how far it is, so can test.)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I read Burrell's post as, "My son is leaving to be an Inquisitional Director for LAUSD," and was both horrified and completely baffled.

Ah ha ha! He would totally be Inquisitional Director for LAUSD! He'd use a lot of threats to get people to talk, threats of no computers for a whole week! Or no more coffee! Or that YOU owe him $100 if he doesn't get what he wants!

You know how I would love to live close to some Buffistas. but mac and Isaac would be such a destructive team. If Owen was tasked with being their tech master, I do believe they would take over the world via tantrums.

btw, there are houses for sale nearby again, you know if anyone is getting restless where they are.

I'm holding out for that house-with-own-ballroom that a friend linked to on Facebook. My whole current house could fit into that one room, so I'd be set.
