See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Thanks, Typo!

ita !, I was also looking at the back of the dress and thinking it would look great on you. Still not sold on even one stitch of the rest of the dress, but damn do I love that back.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy anniversary, JZ and Hec!

take a minute to reflect on how your life has changed in the last eight years.

Um, changed jobs a lot, narrowly avoided a nervous breakdown, published a book, lost my mom, was diagnosed with a really annoying disease, apparently became slightly-more than internet famous, and am a meme. Still don't like the linear progression of time, thanks.

It doesn't have a hope in hell if it wears you, not you wearing it, and Kristen is all slouchy and sullen and metaphysically bird-flipping.

EXACTLY!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm really torn on that dress. The silvery skeletal stuff is so pretty, and the patchy lace bits are so not. It's unfortunate that the parts I like least are what show up the best in photos.

Mini horses, how so tiny?

hip deep in pie

Which, fine, give her feminist points for not doing a jig for the camera or whatever, but that's simply not a dress to wear if you're going to sulk so drearily.

That's how I feel about her in 95% of her red carpet appearances.

Compassionately intolerant

Many, many warm congratulations to the House of Zmayhem. What a wonderful life you have built for yourselves.

There have been so many times when I have benefited from your thoughtful, caring, and kind words these past eight years.

I just have to say, on my own behalf of course, (;}) "Thanks for getting hitched!"

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

did I ever tell you guys how my sister's student thing resolved it self? The chick admitted that it had been a complete fabrication to cover up what she admitted was sexual harassment. She was made to submit a written apology, give an apology in person, and attend counselling. I read the written apology. She laid it out there and fully admitted how in the wrong she was for both the come on and the "coverup".

WHAA? That's insane!

I'm sorry that msbelle was frustrated and angry last night...but those posts were some funny shit. (I'm sorry — I'm going to hell.)

Happy Zmayhem Anniversary!

Goodness — in the last 8 years I went to grad school again, started teaching high school, got an ovary out and then a hysterectomy. Worked at a couple of other schools, started freelancing. Went from living by myself for 11 years to living with D and getting married in 2010. I'm a stepmom. I have a house, and my own business. I lost 50 pounds.

So...stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yes, msbelle. You exist only for our amusement.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There is the side effect of coulrphobia, though, msbelle.
