Thanks for all the well-wishing! Eight years ago right this minute I think I was being swatted away from the ironing board; I was about to steam the wrinkles out of my dress, but my MOH, Table Talker CharlotteJ, felt that ironing my own dress was taking the low-maintenance bride thing just a bit too far.
Jilli fashion alert: Most of this dress is a beautiful idea very very eye-searingly poorly executed, but just scroll down to the fifth picture. That back is splendid.
I am very tempted to get an adult beverage for lunch.
Happy Anniversary Hec and JZ!
And an adorable baby longears.
It is so fuzzy!!!! Is it a horse or a donkey?
ETA: msbelle, I think you should get the adult beverage
and, they are doing work at my office that sounds like the office above me is getting a root canal.

You know what? I look at that and think that dress would look better on Theron. It doesn't have a hope in hell if it wears you, not you wearing it, and Kristen is all slouchy and sullen and metaphysically bird-flipping. Which, fine, give her feminist points for not doing a jig for the camera or whatever, but that's simply not a dress to wear if you're going to sulk so drearily.
Sulk with some spirit!
I do not like to do "where was I when" reflections, so I'm move straight onto the congratulating the happy couple on their continued nuptials.
Thanks, Typo!
ita !, I was also looking at the back of the dress and thinking it would look great on you. Still not sold on even one stitch of the rest of the dress, but
damn
do I love that back.
Happy anniversary, JZ and Hec!
take a minute to reflect on how your life has changed in the last eight years.
Um, changed jobs a lot, narrowly avoided a nervous breakdown, published a book, lost my mom, was diagnosed with a really annoying disease, apparently became slightly-more than internet famous, and am a meme. Still don't like the linear progression of time, thanks.

EXACTLY!
I'm really torn on that dress. The silvery skeletal stuff is so pretty, and the patchy lace bits are so not. It's unfortunate that the parts I like least are what show up the best in photos.
Mini horses, how so tiny?

That's how I feel about her in 95% of her red carpet appearances.
