Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I read this morning! Horrifying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That article makes me think of Misha Collins' son, who he's described as violent enough that they're taking him to classes to try and teach him to be gentler.

Or maybe to strike without bruising.

It's hard to be sure with Misha.

Perhaps not yet.

But soon, I'm sure.

Did you see the red carpet/event photos of him: [link] ? And the seven million macros that are coming out of it? Like this [link] ?

brillig

I got lured into investigating the net presence of Hay-on-Wye, the book town on the border of England and Wales. I was looking at a map of the region and spied a delightful place that deserves a spot in a Pooh book, Mouse Castle Wood. What a glorious name.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Raining here.

I am shaking my head at myself (very gently, because) because I took the word "gospel" out of an email and replaced it with "canonical" to make sure the recipient would understand.

I mean, I was thinking that the turn of phrase would be less meaningful to a non-Christian person for whom English is at least a second language, but "canonical"? How does that make the point more...legible or whatever? Last time I used that word at work the native English speakers in the room didn't know what I was talking about.

Jilli! I have a co-worker that wants my arc reactor shirt. It's a lot of fun to tell her she'll never have it.
