I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'll see it tomorrow or maybe Saturday.

Eta: Scandal has been growing on me, but I just can't stay awake that late anymore. I'm a little bummed that they killed Paris Gellar, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

On Grey's, even before the very end of the episode, I was thinking how easy it would be to find statuses of various people's contracts, but how strong I was to resist!

Our wings are not tired.

Hoping msbelle and mac are eating all the ice cream.

Yes. I hope it went well and that you have a calm drama free weekend. Of all the mothers in my life I'd say msbelle that you deserve a peaceful Mother's Day this weekend.

Michelle Bachmann is giving up her Swiss citizenship: [link] I have to say what an OUTRAGE it is that a foreign citizen would run for president!!!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That whole thing is just Palin-levels of baffling.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

In Australia, we actually do have a rule that you can't run for Parliament if you hold foreign citizenship. (If I wanted to run, I'd have to renounce my UK citizenship.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Grey's I did not see that coming. I thought that the job offers in other hospitals was more than sufficient to give them an out if anyone decided not to renew their contract.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I caught the very end of Grey's ... wow.

It makes sense!

It does rather. Makes far more sense than America's rule that people born OS can't be President. (Australia has had many PMs from overseas, including the incumbent, Julia Gillard. Our third PM was born in Chile.)
