As a proactive measure against co-worker's "helpful" talk with HR, I am tracking my work day in 15 min. intervals. really super fun.

Msbelle, Ralph Stanley is super tempting, for me or my mom! But we both have dead kitty clauses in effect - for her, multiple dead kitties or my sister moving out with her three. Man, Frankie would so love a playmate.
I wanna go see TAL live! I'm tempted to check if it's showing here and how much tickets are.
On the coffee discussion, I just mailed chicory at my dad's request for my mom's birthday, so they can try and replicate the café au lait they had here. My dad roasts his own coffee.
Wow.
Top Romney Adviser: We’ll Campaign On Constitutional Marriage Ban
Ed Gillespie, senior adviser to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, told Chuck Todd on MSNBC’s Daily Rundown that the campaign would make President Obama’s support for marriage equality an issue this November and that Romney will actively push for a constitutional amendment to take away the right of states to voluntarily extend marriage equality to same-sex couples.
I don't see how this could be a good strategy for Romney. Probably it's intended to increase conservative turnout in the election. But it should increase turnout of pro-gay-marriage folks too, right?

But there are demonstrably more anti-same-sex-marriage voters, considering that the pro side has never won a popular vote.

Which is surprising, since polls tend to show that more Americans support gay marriage rights than oppose it. (Or at least, that more Americans would rather see gay marriage legalized than would support a Constitutional ban.)

But the ones who oppose it are probably more likely to vote.

Yeah, that's why I said "voters."
Did I say surprising? I meant depressing...
Wow. Interesting. Is it possible that such a federal ban would actually happen?
God. I want to go to bed hold my knees and rock until all the terrible people go away.

I don't see how they would have support for a Constitutional amendment....
