I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks! I'm very pleased with it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Very nice, -t!

I wish it were feasible for me to take Mr. Ralph Stanley. I'm sure he and Walter would get along great. Go bowling and drink beers and sing sad songs. Dog stuff.

Aw, dawgs.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I would love a Ralph Stanley. As would Darby. I have a minor issue with male dogs, whereby their junk hanging out kind of grosses me out. I'd get over that. But I also have a dead cat clause. (The cat, who is 19 and going strong, would also probably love a Ralph Stanley. But I cannot manage three animals.)

Because books.

The cat is 19? Wow.

I would love to take Ralph Stanley, but given his size, I would actually be worried about the cats abusing him.

Brenda, I had that clause. I now have a Pumpkin.

Devi is 15 now. This blows my mind.

Today was...well, I still have to do my trip report. But I performed some rockstar-sql which is going to help set expectations, my swim times still suck, but I finished my swim before the lightning started, I've got to make sure my expense reports are being done correctly, but I should be getting a nice chunk of change back, I had to walk back in the rain without an umbrella, but it was a nice rain....so.

Ralph Stanley remains adorable.

JZ, my address is North Hollywood, but on Vicland. Is that the one you have?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am home! Had a good meeting, saw Hunger Games finally, and met up for lunch with my awesome former student.

Super tired now.

I also may have bought speculoos at Trader Joes. What should I put it on?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

All my onerous tasks have been accomplished for the day.

And whew, I took the most intense yoga class I've had so far and I can feel it already. The teacher was great, though.

Thrive to spite them

Anna lived to be 20 1/2 years old. A woman in my knitting group just had to put down her cat who was 23.

I talked to Mom today, they are at the beach - my brother had to do a kayaking thing in Florida this weekend so he's down in Neptune Beach and they are up in north Florida.

Currently they are living in NC and Mom really loves it. Except she told me she was really disappointed that her "adopted" state voted against gay marriage. I think 20 years ago she wouldn't have thought that.

ION there's a weird thumping going on upstairs, it's almost the same rhythm of a shoe in a dryer. Thump THUMPthump THUMP thump. I have no idea what my landlady or her kids could possibly be doing but I hope they cut it out soon.
