I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

today is oenerous task day.

completed:

- go to school to report he will not be returning and discuss registration for next year. (he will have to register as a new student, not returning since he withdrew before the end of school)
- also at school discuss options if I cannot get him into the outpatient facility school for the next two weeks. (on the school withdrawl papers from the hospital, I need to say we will homechool him for the next 2 weeks and no proof will be required at next year's registration)
- call summer program to cancel our registration and request full refund. (turns out hospitalization = full refund with no questions asked)

pending:

- call insurance to see if I need pre-authorization for outpatient facility.
- call outpatient facility again (they have not returned my call from yesterday) and try to get him registered.
- call hospital and try to get concrete answer on discharge date (tomorrow is the assumption).
- call psychiatrist and give him update on all.
- call chimney people and get work scheduled for week Uncle Gary is here.
- send more emails to find home for Mr. Ralph Stanley.
- send email to highschool boys from church tht do childcare to see if they would do regular weekly work with us.

Art Crawl!!!

Woo hoo, Typo! and Whew.

Glad to hear the non-cancer thing is spreading.

Toddson, my knitting group sometimes meets at Barnes and Noble where we found the knitting with cat hair book to great hilarity AND horror.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That is a lot of onerous. Good luck.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

David - you mean this one? Because a knitted pony may be the only pony I ever get.

Knitted ponies don't require a stabling fee.

I'm awaiting the stop-motion animated movie where somebody knits themselves a circle of friends.

My god, they've upgraded IE here. I now have "inprivate browsing", whatever that is. And I can get to LJ! ...I wonder how long that will work before the webfiltering snaps back into place...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Good news, Typo!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

That is onerous, but at least you won't have to wrangle a refund for the summer program.

And remember, you have lots of teachers here to give any help on curriculum if need be. And you can pull out that card: I am sending this book report to a REAL TEACHER to grade (I would totally do this for you) so don't even pull that "You're not a TEACHER card, mister!"

OK, my onerous tasks: Packing, addressing and mailing corsets

Cleaning the cat box and taking out the upstairs trash

Getting gas (I HATE this, for some reason, and it's not the price, although that sucketh, too)

Making copies of papers at FedEx and mailing them off.

Folding and putting away clean laundry and doing two more loads tonight.

Question: Why will my husband put dishes in the dishwasher, but leave a dish that he "doesn't know where it goes" on the counter? And why, why, WHY am I the only one who ever cleans the sink and kitchen counters? I don't get it.

Okay, now to work.
