Straight up boiling water. I used vinegar, but I didn't even stir it. I left it in a bit too long, and the eggs are a little hard, but they're OK.

I grew up with the little poaching cups, so straight in the water always struck me as hard-core chefdom. And the timing often needs a bit of fiddling among different pots and stoves.

Load 3 of laundry is started. Pork is in the slow cooker for pulled pork tacos later in the day. Buffy's Fool for Love is on the tv and I'm plotting some deep cleaning in the kitchen/living room once I have the house to myself.
