I grew up with the little poaching cups, so straight in the water always struck me as hard-core chefdom. And the timing often needs a bit of fiddling among different pots and stoves.

Load 3 of laundry is started. Pork is in the slow cooker for pulled pork tacos later in the day. Buffy's Fool for Love is on the tv and I'm plotting some deep cleaning in the kitchen/living room once I have the house to myself.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
I've fed the cats. I slept until 9am, wtf. Now I feel sluggish. I was thinking of going out shopping, but that would require me to shower and comb my hair and otherwise yield to The Man's constrictive rules about acceptable social appearance, so maybe I'll just stay home with my frizzy hair and pajamas.
