Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

I just got informed that even though I've been asking for weeks (after seeing a small note about the possibility buried in a document), I may have to fly to Chicago in a few weeks on a Saturday, work all day Sunday (starting at 7:45AM, and through a dinner that night) and then fly directly from there to a thing in LA (that I also didn't plan). ARGH. Have emailed my boss--technically as a salaried worker you don't get comp time, but damn, I'm not down for that. Also, I have things I want to do on Saturday and Sunday! But I don't want to be the whiny "can't do it" girl, and it's not like a wedding or something--just a class I signed up for (but only meets 4 times!) Not sure how much of a fuss to put up, as the new girl.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I can't even.

My mom sent me a note about Yauch. He was my Beastie. I'm so desperately sad. I was just writing a piece about them for Popgurls. They were my favorite band. It's so weird and awful to be so broken-hearted about someone passing, who you never even knew.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, meara. That's a PITA.

In hilarious-to-you-people news, my newly-four cousin has announced that she's going to go by "Jesse the Cowgirl" from now on. LIKE FROM TOY STORY.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

LIKE FROM TOY STORY.

From "Toy Story"? Right. I am named Robin AFTER MY AUNT WHO HAS THE SAME NAME, IJS.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Her name is not Jesse. Or Jessie. She's just obsessed WITH TOY STORY.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Allyson, sending hairpats to your gorgeous head of hair. You were the first person I thought of when I heard the news.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I bought all of the fried food at lunch. sorry if anyone else wanted any, I have it.

the benfits assistance people at work are now on my case and running down information for me. At least now I have a straight answer on estimates for charges I am looking at. I hope we do not have to move him, and my gut is that I will not look at a transfer unless they come back with a recommendation for keeping him more than 3 days.
