the benfits assistance people at work are now on my case and running down information for me. At least now I have a straight answer on estimates for charges I am looking at. I hope we do not have to move him, and my gut is that I will not look at a transfer unless they come back with a recommendation for keeping him more than 3 days.

Update: I held it together mostly b/c my dean will not take no for an answer. She now offered me an entire yr off next year, the possibility of a boatload of research $$ and to leave my dept. WTF.
