I took a nice bath and am about to sip some peppermint tea. Calm down, brain. There's nothing we can do in the middle of the night.
Going to go try out my new book light. Ooh, I have a couple of library books I need to sideload to my Nook. That's what I'll do. Move the books while the tea is steeping, and then try to sleep again.

I am heading out for the day. it was a late night. I cannot see him today, no visitation on Fridays, so I will be dealing with the fallout at school, then heading to work and starting in on my insurance. the hospital where he is is out of network, so they may insist on a transfer. I do not think they can fight last night's charges since it was police-initiated.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
It kills me so much that when you already have too much to deal with emotionally, etc., you ALSO have to fight the insurance company. Good luck with it all.

Thank god I see "Avengers" today because I need it. I am going to tell my boss later today I need to resign. Will be a difficult convo. I have a wonderful boss but I can't be here any more. My dept is so toxic that I can't see a long term strategy for staying, despite my boss' best efforts.
