Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

All my strength and love to you, msbelle.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just saw this commercial for Kraft Mac and Cheese. I'm torn between thinking it's hysterical and wondering who would have possibly approved this for a "family" product like Kraft. [link]

In an attempt at distraction from bad things-- perhaps the Buffista google-fu will help me. I am desperately looking for the commercial (I think it is for Tegrin) that uses the phrase "The Heartbreak of Psoriasis" to show my students. e were talking about psoriasis today, and the phrase came out of my mouth, and I would like to show them that I am not crazy. The crazy part is that this phrase lives in the same part of my brain as "The Agony of Defeat".

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think I'm about ready to lose my mind.

My boss is doing the full court press trying to get me to stay. She has enlisted a bunch of other people to talk to me to convince me to stay.

PSA: Don't let a rolling pin drop on your nose. It hurts.

First real flowing nosebleed in my life, at 36. Didn't break anything, other than my dignity.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

sarameg - roll up a piece of tissue and stick it between your upper lip and gums, all the way up. That will stop the bleeding, if you're still bleeding. Also, ouch.

Yeah, it stopped right quick with simple pressure, probably why I'd never had one before. I'm blaming the cats for rearranging the shelves.
