I've got a box of 1.4 mb floppies as well. I had to move some stuff from an old laptop that didn't have a USB drive.

I have lots of things like that...it seems wrong to throw them out, but they are past their day.
It would actually be a good place to store sensitive stuff, because everyone looks at them and goes "Junk, doesn't work on systems anymore."
I probably shouldn't be going to a "Hm, I could hide things there" place so easily, should I.
Everybody's got a criminal inside of them. I wouldn't worry about it. Good tip, too.Although I can't use it for my current writing as my character is on a road trip.
Okay! I think I've got everybody that worked on your circle of friends afghan, Maria! Both the blanket and the rosary were Plei's idea. Beverly headed up the rosary search. Many people donated funds that went either to the rosary, the yarn, or the gift cards.
Oh, I needed this so badly yesterday. It was not a good day. I keep getting run over by 18-wheelers right now.
Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so profoundly grateful to all of you for counting me as one of your friends. I am unsure of a lot of things at this moment--and I'm questioning my judgment--but I am very secure in your love. It's been the only constant lately. Things will probably get worse before they get better, and I couldn't have a better group of friends to get me through it.
There are no words to express the depth of my appreciation. I don't deserve this.
I don't deserve this.
This is where you are wrong. No wonder you are questioning your judgment.
Maria, I was with ya til the last sentence. You DO deserve this. Everyone deserves to have friends that love and care for them and want happiness and ease for them. (OK, maybe not Jeffrey Dahmer. Or maybe some really saintly nuns can pray for him or something. But you are not a crazed serial killer)
You do deserve it, Maria. Everybody needs a little unconditional love.
ETA Although I must admit meara raises a good point about the serial killer.
I think it's Hound of the Baskervilles that has the woman weeping in grief over the death of her murdering brother, and Watson muses that it's a sad individual who doesn't have at least one person to cry for them.
How can I be wrong about some people and right about others?
I have done many reprehensible things, but I am most certainly not a serial killer. Thank you, meara, for giving me some perspective.
