That does sound good. I like the frozen pastas in general; the Bertolli ones are pretty good too. But I don't do them too much because the SO won't eat them. Which, true they're fairly calorie dense.

The Bertoli ones are what I usually buy too, though I gather the Buitoni brand are better-sized for two. I keep meaning to try that lobster ravioli one and then never end up buying it.
The blanket is so great! It looks like a big hug. Thanks, everyone who worked on it.
does anyone here know anything about moving cars across the country? We have two to move.
I have done internet searches, but the companies who have given me quotes seem sketchy (3-4 different companies, calling from the same area code, with the same email formatting). I can find no independent reviews of the companies outside of one website. The website has thousands of reviews, but usually companies (I have dealt with) have more of an online presence than that.
Oh, and all the companies have obviously used website creator software for their websites.
I need some leads on reputable auto moving companies. Please.
I just about had a meltdown last night trying to sort through this particular issue.
Any tips any of you have would be appreciated.
le nubian, I don't know where you are, but if time is not of the essence, could you use the movers from the Delancey Street Foundation? I used them for a cross country move and for a car (two separate things) and things went fine.
Sniff -- no one asked me to work on the blanket. But given my track record for getting things done on time, you'd still be waiting for it.
le n, any young and/or unemployed relatives available to take a week driving cross-country?
Sparky,
I have never heard of them. I will investigate.
Theo,
part of the problem. I have no younger relatives by blood except 3rd and 4th cousins who I never see.
Beau has a youngest sister who I would not trust to drive my car around a college town for a day much less across country. Although, maybe my assessment of her is in error.
We'd still need another car to transport.
All I know is that Clark Howard recommends using movers that are members of the American Moving and Storage Association's ProMover program [link] which does seem to include some vehicle movers.
