Really, that was the least of that episode's sins and monstrous crimes. Also, you misspelled John Mayer.
I haven't seen the Glee episode in question, but just needed to agree with the tangential dissing of John Mayer. "Daughters" and "Waiting on the World to Change" top my list of most-hated songs. Not just songs I don't like, but songs I actively hate.
I was right to set low expectations for the day. I had signed up for a Pies and Tarts class at the local CC, and just got an email that it's been cancelled. I am crushed...it was the thing I was looking forward to all month. I was getting me through work hell.
Obviously you need to treat yourself to some pie (or a tart, if you prefer) to deal with the disappointment.
Admittedly, that is some of the funniest early "The Office" episodes when Michael gets over heartbreak by listening to Mayer songs.
I'm on the same boat with you hating Mayer though. "Daughters" makes me want to take a hostage.
Pies and Tarts
Oooh! Sucks that it was cancelled. For all I bake, I rarely make pie (except pumpkin). I could stand to take a Pies and Tarts class.
I have a movie tonight, but I did buy stick to try making pie pops. [link]
Maybe I will do that when I get home.
FWIW, I swear by this pie crust recipe (or the Jeffrey Steingarten original): [link]
Am very tempted to tart self up and bring pie to Sue.
So been at work an hour, have literally run between 3 building trying to get stuff done in little breaks of time. Boss gave me 2 paged of new to-dos and only now am I getting to the stuff I needed to do this morning because it is already late. Including a report to the CEO. Bad admin, no biscuit.
Aw, Jeffrey Steingarten. He's so predictably snotty and cranky. I love him.
It's raining and chilly and a perfect day to stay in bed, but Sara's home sick(ish), and I have to go to the gastroenterologist later. Good times.
I think I spelled that wrong, too.
