Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I always a little boggled at how often people misspell my name.

Seriously? Do they spell it with an "e"?

They start off with a J and just don't know where to go from there.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think Marti Noxon wrote this totes barfy episode too.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I wanted to like Glee, but I couldn't hang with it. Now I'm finally seeing that there's others like me out there.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I find that I like to watch Glee in chunks - when I don't want to think. Occassionaly there are fun musical numbers. However the drama lama gets to me. Even though or maybe because I know that the feeling of the drama is true even when the situation is silly

happy more posting month.

I just reliezed why I post less. i do the teen blog at the library -- lots of email -- and noe - the library FB page. hopefully other people will pick up parts of the FB posting , because somehow I think they still want me to deal with the teen volunteers, do teen and adult programming and work the desk . Plus other duties as required.

I love when people talk about lazy goverment workers. When I worked corporate and retail there was always chatting time -- that is rare at the library. and rarer and rarer

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congrats, shrift!

I watch some of the Glee production numbers on YouTube, but I've never seen an episode all the way through.

hip deep in pie

Timelies! This morning is not starting out well. I feel like I have a hangover, but I drank nothing last night. I made coffee this morning and forgot to bring it, missed first bus. I am hoping to hide in cubicle for the rest of the day without incident. I've set my expectations for the rest of the day for very low.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Test-foundation update: it's fine! We'll see about next week's next week.

Congrats, shrift!

I also seem to have the puffiest hair known to man this AM.

Congrats on the promotion, shrift!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yesterday a coworker asked if I had gotten a haircut, because my hair looked so much more layered than usual. No, just walking in the wind and rain made every layer stand out on its own, instead of laying flat like they are supposed to. This morning is marginally better....

And as long as I'm focusing on my appearance, I am not sure if I can make it two more weeks without plucking my eyebrows! I am growing them out in preparation for seeing the fancy brow lady, but am sort of traumatized already.

information libertarian

Sue cannot have the puffiest hair known to mankind. That is my honor today. It is going to be 87 and humid, and the last time I got my hair cut, the person did not thin the unruly mass of grey like my previous person did.
