Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'll take it!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

In North America, anyone not of Native American descent is an immigrant or descended from immigrants*. So maybe very different places were settled by similar ethnic groups, leading to similar regional accents. One hypothesis anyway.

Lots of native New Orleanians sound like they are from New York. For realsies. Irish/German/?

but apparently there's a pocket of people (must be tiny tiny people) in North Carolina who have the same accent as Shakespeare.

Henna "crowns" for chemotherapy patients

OMG that is so awesome. Love it!

sara, give yourself a chance to recuperate. Travel is hard on a body.

What she said. You didn't get much sleep while you were there, and I know that always runs down my immune system.

Yeah, I think that's folks from the same part of Ireland settling in both.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Also plenty of Italians.

Italian! Knew I was forgetting something obvious. It was odd for me to realize that if someone sounds like they're from NY, there's a good chance they were born and raised in NO.

Oh yeah, Italians.

Exercise usually gives me an added boost, which is why I am second guessing. Though a super shitty swim might've been less than helpful.

OTOH, I had a nice nap with Devi behind my knees, Loki against my chest and Pumpkin on the pillow above my head with her paws in my hair.

And good lord, my typing is atrocious today.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

adventures of Mr. Ralph Stanley night 2. still no barking or chewing, but there has been some whining. Exploration has been allowed into the back living room and kitchen and introductions were made with Sylvester. No fighting or hissing, Ralph seems pretty uninterested although he did try to play twice and got the big old man fat cat stare down.

He would very much like to be at a person's side at all times. Occasionally he sighs with a tiny tiny hrrmmph.

He may not actually be a dog of constant sorrow, but I get great pleasure out of addressing him as Mr. Ralph Stanley. oh yes I do.
