Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

Because books.

Uh oh. That doesn't sound good.

Speaking of work drama, everyone in the four-person art department at the paper where S. works quit last week -- except for the one guy everyone wants fired, because he won't do anything, and can't do anything right anyway. Good times.

Librarian Warlord

At least my Tuesday has started off in an okay fashion: I snagged a membership to the pool we wanted to join this summer (open spaces were gone in 4 minutes this morning), and campus announced we are getting summer Fridays (campus closes at noon - but I and my counter-part each work full Fridays half the time instead, so I'll have 6 3-day weekends).

ETA: Sophia, I am going to a wedding in Pittsford this weekend. I have to catch a plane out of ROC at noon on Sunday, but let me know if you'd be up for breakfast that morning. I have a car.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The house feels cooler when it cools down to 70degF than when it warms up to 70degF, but either way it's 70 (21degC, for you Celsius folks). Why is that?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Similarly, the other day I put on a jacket to go outside where it was 65F, and was so hot! But if it's 65 inside, I need two sweaters. What's up with that?

I read this as Coriolanus effect. Which would be different.
